    Purpose. The main purpose of the work is to carry out a kinematic synthesis of a crank-slider gripping device in accordance to the criterion of the constancy of the drive power of the mechanism with restrictions on permissible pressure angles in kinematic pairs. Methodology . Achieving this purpose is carried out by means of the theory of mechanisms and machines using the analytical method of the Ozols triangles of kinematics of plane rod mechanisms and mathematical modeling of the movement of links. Findings. The ten-bar mechanism of the gripping device is built on the basis of a paired parallelogram of a crank-slider mechanism with a leading slider. For gripping device, which is built on the basis of the rod scheme, it is advisable optimal design using the criteria for the transfer of motion or transmission indices. The criterion of optimization is the ratio of the speed of the leading link to the projection of the velocity vector of the driven point on the direction of the clamping force vector (power transmission index). The lowest energy costs can be achieved, provided that this ratio is equal to one. Analytical dependences are obtained for determining the velocity function of the central and de-axial crank-slider gripping device, which are convenient for analysis and modeling. On their basis, an energy synthesis of the geometrical parameters of the mechanism of the gripping device in accordance with the criterion of the smallest deviation from the unit ofpower transmission index is performed. The possibilities of the gripping device are enhanced by using it in a de-axial crank-slider mechanism, and the best results can be obtained in a scheme where the de-axial value is larger than the crank length. It is determined the specific values of the relative parameters of the lengths of the links and the ranges of rotation of the crank of the central and de-axial crank-slider of the grippingdevice, which best meet the optimization criterion and satisfy the pressure angle constraints. Originality. For the first time, a new criterion for the transmission of motion was introduced –power transmission index. According to this criteria, a kinematic synthesis of the gripping device built on the basis of a paired crank slider mechanism was carried out. Practical value. Practical recommendations are proposed on the size and location of the links of the mechanism for the central and de-axial crank-slider mechanism, which satisfy the requirements of the optimization criterion and implement restrictions on permissible pressure angles.

    Purpose. The paper deals with the galvanic coupling effect (time of treatment and other factors) on the removal of oil, synthetic surface active substances (SSAS), chromium, etc. from waste process solutions used in metalworking. It presents an overview of wastewater treatment technologies from heavy metal ions based on physicochemical processes. Methodology . To restore hexavalent chlorine to trivalent, authors decided to use the existing averager of acid-alkaline effluents as a kind of galvanic coagulant, for which it was filled with iron turnings and crushed coke. Findings. Authors researched wastewater of the electrotechnical industry and highlighted sorption methods for their purification with the use of coagulants, ion exchange. They considered a new galvanocoagulation method for purification from heavy metal (HM) ions (arsenic, chromium, non-ferrous metals), as well as petroleum products and organic substances dissolved in water. Permissible values of the quality indicators of wastewater and water in reservoirs are given. The classification of heavy metal groups according to the degree of toxic effect is presented. Their influence on the human body is considered. The use of the «LOTOS» reactor in the technological process of electroplatings wastes cleaning allows: to process them in a single stream, to abandon special reagents for cleaning effluents from hexavalent chromium and cyanides, to exclude the need for acidification of effluents, to reduce the use of alkaline reagents up to complete rejection of them, to reduce the equipment rate and number of production personnel (their main function is to purify solutions containing up to 1 g/dm 3 of hexavalent chromium. The reactor consists of unified modules, mounted in a single frame. Originality. On the basis of experimental research work, it was established possibility in principle of treatment of all liquids under research by the galvanocoagulation method. The method consists in contacting of wastewater simultaneously with copper and steel shavings (scrap) without using an external source of electric current. Practical value . The article highlights the topical issues of wastewater treatment from salts of heavy metals, which is necessary for sanitary and ecological purposes. We propose modern energy-saving and low-energy-consuming simple methods, such as the galvanic technique. The modern plant is widely used in industry, electroplating and metalware production. The described methods have a number of positive properties in the economic and energy relations. Salts of heavy metals are dangerous pollutants for both sewage and drinking water. Therefore, water treatment is a very important problem in the field of the environment of our country and abroad. The cleaning effect is achieved within 95 ... 98%.

    Purpose . The purpose of the article is to assess the costs, which are redistributed in the system «shipper−railroad−consignee» during routing of rail transportation and the development of tariff simulation methods of shippers to the exit routes formation. Methodology . Using economic and mathematical analysis the distribution of costs among the various participants of transportation process during the exit routes formation is investigated in the article. Findings. For implementation of the tariff simulation methods of exit routes and retention of the existing tariff structure it is proposed to provide in the «Tariff catalogue for freight transportation by railway transport of Ukraine» the discount, differentiated from haulage distance. A new method for determining the fees amount for cars supply and removal on approach tracks by train locomotives was also offered. Originality . As a result of the research a new method for determination of the exit rout efficiency that, unlike the existing one, takes into account the various interests of the individual participants in the transportation process was proposed. The dependence of the correction factors to the tariff for freight transportation in their own cars by direct exit routes from distance haulage was obtained. Implementation of these coefficients provides an approximation of railway tariffs to the traffic handling costs. A method for determination the rate of fees for cars supply and removal on approach tracks by train locomotives was offered. Practical value . InUkraine creation of the tariff discounts system for freight transportation by exit routes consistent with international practice and allows bringing the tariff to the real traffic handling cost. This change on the one hand will provide stimulation for private capital investments in infrastructure development and shunting means of approach tracks, on the other – it will fix the shippers to the railroads and stop their outflow for alternative modes of transport.

    Purpose. The main purpose of the work is to carry out a kinematic synthesis of a crank-slider gripping device in accordance to the criterion of the constancy of the drive power of the mechanism with restrictions on permissible pressure angles in kinematic pairs. Methodology . Achieving this purpose is carried out by means of the theory of mechanisms and machines using the analytical method of the Ozols triangles of kinematics of plane rod mechanisms and mathematical modeling of the movement of links. Findings. The ten-bar mechanism of the gripping device is built on the basis of a paired parallelogram of a crank-slider mechanism with a leading slider. For gripping device, which is built on the basis of the rod scheme, it is advisable optimal design using the criteria for the transfer of motion or transmission indices. The criterion of optimization is the ratio of the speed of the leading link to the projection of the velocity vector of the driven point on the direction of the clamping force vector (power transmission index). The lowest energy costs can be achieved, provided that this ratio is equal to one. Analytical dependences are obtained for determining the velocity function of the central and de-axial crank-slider gripping device, which are convenient for analysis and modeling. On their basis, an energy synthesis of the geometrical parameters of the mechanism of the gripping device in accordance with the criterion of the smallest deviation from the unit ofpower transmission index is performed. The possibilities of the gripping device are enhanced by using it in a de-axial crank-slider mechanism, and the best results can be obtained in a scheme where the de-axial value is larger than the crank length. It is determined the specific values of the relative parameters of the lengths of the links and the ranges of rotation of the crank of the central and de-axial crank-slider of the grippingdevice, which best meet the optimization criterion and satisfy the pressure angle constraints. Originality. For the first time, a new criterion for the transmission of motion was introduced –power transmission index. According to this criteria, a kinematic synthesis of the gripping device built on the basis of a paired crank slider mechanism was carried out. Practical value. Practical recommendations are proposed on the size and location of the links of the mechanism for the central and de-axial crank-slider mechanism, which satisfy the requirements of the optimization criterion and implement restrictions on permissible pressure angles.

    Purpose. The paper deals with the galvanic coupling effect (time of treatment and other factors) on the removal of oil, synthetic surface active substances (SSAS), chromium, etc. from waste process solutions used in metalworking. It presents an overview of wastewater treatment technologies from heavy metal ions based on physicochemical processes. Methodology . Findings. Authors researched wastewater of the electrotechnical industry and highlighted sorption methods for their purification with the use of coagulants, ion exchange. They considered a new galvanocoagulation method for purification from heavy metal (HM) ions (arsenic, chromium, non-ferrous metals), as well as petroleum products and organic substances dissolved in water. Permissible values of the quality indicators of wastewater and water in reservoirs are given. The classification of heavy metal groups according to the degree of toxic effect is presented. Their influence on the human body is considered. The use of the «LOTOS» reactor in the technological process of electroplatings wastes cleaning allows: to process them in a single stream, to abandon special reagents for cleaning effluents from hexavalent chromium and cyanides, to exclude the need for acidification of effluents, to reduce the use of alkaline reagents up to complete rejection of them, to reduce the equipment rate and number of production personnel (their main function is to purify solutions containing up to 1 g/dm 3 of hexavalent chromium. The reactor consists of unified modules, mounted in a single frame. Originality. On the basis of experimental research work, it was established possibility in principle of treatment of all liquids under research by the galvanocoagulation method. The method consists in contacting of wastewater simultaneously with copper and steel shavings (scrap) without using an external source of electric current. Practical value . The article highlights the topical issues of wastewater treatment from salts of heavy metals, which is necessary for sanitary and ecological purposes. We propose modern energy-saving and low-energy-consuming simple methods, such as the galvanic technique. The modern plant is widely used in industry, electroplating and metalware production. The described methods have a number of positive properties in the economic and energy relations. Salts of heavy metals are dangerous pollutants for both sewage and drinking water. Therefore, water treatment is a very important problem in the field of the environment of our country and abroad. The cleaning effect is achieved within 95 ... 98%.

    Purpose . The purpose of the article is to assess the costs, which are redistributed in the system «shipper−railroad−consignee» during routing of rail transportation and the development of tariff simulation methods of shippers to the exit routes formation. Methodology . Using economic and mathematical analysis the distribution of costs among the various participants of transportation process during the exit routes formation is investigated in the article. Findings. For implementation of the tariff simulation methods of exit routes and retention of the existing tariff structure it is proposed to provide in the «Tariff catalogue for freight transportation by railway transport of Ukraine» the discount, differentiated from haulage distance. A new method for determining the fees amount for cars supply and removal on approach tracks by train locomotives was also offered. Originality . As a result of the research a new method for determination of the exit rout efficiency that, unlike the existing one, takes into account the various interests of the individual participants in the transportation process was proposed. The dependence of the correction factors to the tariff for freight transportation in their own cars by direct exit routes from distance haulage was obtained. Implementation of these coefficients provides an approximation of railway tariffs to the traffic handling costs. A method for determination the rate of fees for cars supply and removal on approach tracks by train locomotives was offered. Practical value . InUkraine creation of the tariff discounts system for freight transportation by exit routes consistent with international practice and allows bringing the tariff to the real traffic handling cost. This change on the one hand will provide stimulation for private capital investments in infrastructure development and shunting means of approach tracks, on the other – it will fix the shippers to the railroads and stop their outflow for alternative modes of transport.

    In the article the research results of appearance of defects in the artificial reinforced concrete constructions at three stages (projecting, building, and exploitation) are presented. The recommendations are given and the technologies of their removal are presented. В статье приведены результаты исследований появления дефектов в железобетонных искусственных сооружениях на трёх стадиях: проектирование, строительство и эксплуатация. Даны рекомендации и приведены технологии их устранения. В статті наведено результати досліджень появи дефектів у залізобетонних штучних спорудах на трьох стадіях: проектування, будівництво та експлуатація. Надані рекомендації та наведені технології їх усунення.
