    The most efficient methods of fuel and air mixture separation that support the improvement of spark ignition engine working efficiency have been considered. Factors that influence antiknock characteristics of engines and also factors that cause the increase of toxicity have been identified. The conclusion concerning the lack of perspective of charge separation application for the purpose of further improvement of engine working indexes of the given type has been drawn. Рассмотрены наиболее эффективные способы расслоения топливовоздушной смеси, обеспечивающие улучшение экономичности работы двигателей с искровым зажиганием, определены факторы, влияющие на антидетонационные качества двигателей, а также факторы, вызывающие повышение токсичности ОГ. Сделан вывод о неперспективности применения расслоения заряда в целях дальнейшего улучшения показателей работы двигателей данного типа.

    Purpose. The railway transport is one of the most important links in economy of Ukraine, and it is a basis of its transport system. As the majority of freight transportation of coal and metallurgical industry is conducted by railway transport, its effective use is a necessary condition of stabilization and development in economy of Ukraine. One of the strategic works connected with implementation of high-speed train service in Ukraine is the reliable work ensuring of connection of intermediate rail fastening during operation. For engineering works, according to the contents and repair of fastenings the considerable share of labor expenses during operation of a way is necessary. One of domestic intermediate fastenings which after long operational supervision has implemented into continuous operation is the fastening, type КПП-5. This fastening is a prototype of the Polish rail fastening type SB-3. After the long operation in fastenings, type KПП-5, a number of the shortcomings connected with premature refusal of its elements was revealed. This in generally is connected with intensive reduction of size of pressing force of a rail to the subrail basis. Therefore the purpose is the development of a technique and practical control devices concerning a condition of work of a rail fastening knot, type KПП-5 at operation. Methodology. The assessment of various factors impact at a size of pressing force of a rail to the subrail basis in the knot of a rail fastening, type KПП-5 at operation is the foundation of the research method. Findings. By means of the developed technique and practical control devices it was established: the general reduction of pressing force of a rail to the subrail basis during one mill. tons gross., taking into account influence of various factors, may constitute kN. Originality. Accordingly to the obtained results the author firstly described and expressed by empirical dependence the process of change of pressing force of a rail to a subrail basis in a fastening, type KПП-5 after the admission of T, one mill. tons gross. Practical value. The device design is developed for control of elastic properties and a numerical assessment of pressing force decrease of the terminal to a rail depending on the passed tonnage. Цель. Железнодорожный транспорт является одним из важнейших звеньев экономики Украины и основой ее транспортной системы. Учитывая то, что большинство грузовых перевозок угольной и металлургической промышленности проводится железнодорожным транспортом, эффективное его использование является необходимым условием стабилизации и развития экономики Украины. Одной из стратегических работ, связанных с внедрением скоростного движения поездов в Украине, является обеспечение надежной работы узла промежуточного рельсового крепления во время эксплуатации. Именно на путевые работы по содержанию и ремонту скреплений приходится значительная доля трудовых затрат во время эксплуатации пути. Одним из отечественных промежуточных скреплений, которое после длительных эксплуатационных наблюдений внедрилось в постоянную эксплуатацию, является скрепление типа КПП-5. Данное скрепление это прототип польского рельсового скрепления типа SB-3. После длительной эксплуатации в скреплении типа КПП-5 выявлен ряд недостатков, связанных с преждевременным отказом его элементов, что, в основном, связано с интенсивным уменьшением величины силы прижатия рельса к подрельсовому основанию. Поэтому целью исследования является разработка методики и практических средств контроля за состоянием работы узла рельсового скрепления типа КПП-5 во время эксплуатации. Методика. В основе методики проведения исследований лежит оценка влияния различных факторов на величину силы прижатия рельса к подрельсовому основанию в узле рельсового скрепления типа КПП-5 во время эксплуатации. Результаты. С помощью разработанной методики и практических средств контроля было установлено, общее предполагаемое уменьшение силы прижатия рельса к подрельсовому основанию в течении млн. т. бр. с учетом влияния различных факторов, может составлять кН. Научная новизна. По результатам исследования автором впервые был описан и выражен эмпирической зависимостью процесс изменения силы прижатия рельса к подрельсовму основанию в скреплении типа КПП-5 после пропуска Т, млн. т. бр. Практическая значимость. Разработана конструкция устройства для контроля упругих свойств и численной оценки снижения силы прижатия клеммы к рельсу в зависимости от пропущенного тоннажа.

    The system of magnetic support (magnetic suspension MS) using permanent magnets for suspension is under consideration. The permanent magnets are arranged in stepped order. The vertical interaction forces between magnetic systems of the track and the vehicle in dependence on geometrical and physical parameters of the MS are analyzed. Рассматривается система магнитной опоры (магнитной подвески-МП) ступенчатого типа на основе постоянных магнитов.     Цель. Определение влияния защитного состояния эргатических систем управления на железнодорожном транспорте на безопасность их применения. Составление рекомендаций относительно его учета при нормировании и испытаниях на этапе разработки и внедрения. Методика. Исследование выполнено на базе теории надежности с использованием экспоненциального закона распределения отказов. Результаты. Показано, что подтверждение соответствия эргатических технических средств управления и регулирования движения поездов определенному уровню функциональной безопасности не является достаточным для гарантирования безопасности их применения. Установлено, что защитный отказ эргатической системы управления не исключает, а лишь отсрочивает опасное состояние системы. Научная новизна. Получили дальнейшее развитие подход и требования к исследованию безопасности применения эргатических систем управления на железнодорожном транспорте. В отличие от предыдущих они учитывают показатели не только функциональной безопасности, но и безотказности при нормировании и доказательстве безопасности данных систем. Практическая значимость. Учет защитных отказов технических средств при испытаниях на безопасность применения, а также нормирование характеристик надежности систем управления ответственными технологическими процессами на железнодорожном транспорте в соответствии с предложенным подходом позволяет повысить уровень их безопасности применения в процессе эксплуатации. Purpose. Determination of the protective state influence of ergatic control system on a railway transport on their use safety. Making recommendations concerning its accounting for regulations and testing during the development and implementation. Methodology. Research is executed on the base of reliability theory with the use of exponential law of refusals distribution. Findings. It is shown that confirmation of ergatic technical control facilities accordance and trains traffic arrangement to certain functional level of security is not sufficient for guaranteeing of their use safety. It is established that the protective refusal of ergatic control system does not exclude, but only postpones the dangerous condition of the system. Originality. Further development of approach and requirements to research of use safety of ergatic control system on a railway transport are received. Unlike previous they take into account the indexes of not only functional unconcern, but also faultlessness at setting of norms and proof of these systems safety. Practical value. Accounting of protective refusals of technical facilities at tests on their safety application, and also setting of norms of characteristics reliability of control systems by responsible technological processes on a railway transport in accordance with offered approach allows to increase level of their use safety in the exploitation process.

    The most efficient methods of fuel and air mixture separation that support the improvement of spark ignition engine working efficiency have been considered. Factors that influence antiknock characteristics of engines and also factors that cause the increase of toxicity have been identified. The conclusion concerning the lack of perspective of charge separation application for the purpose of further improvement of engine working indexes of the given type has been drawn. Рассмотрены наиболее эффективные способы расслоения топливовоздушной смеси, обеспечивающие улучшение экономичности работы двигателей с искровым зажиганием, определены факторы, влияющие на антидетонационные качества двигателей, а также факторы, вызывающие повышение токсичности ОГ. Сделан вывод о неперспективности применения расслоения заряда в целях дальнейшего улучшения показателей работы двигателей данного типа.

    Purpose. The railway transport is one of the most important links in economy of Ukraine, and it is a basis of its transport system. As the majority of freight transportation of coal and metallurgical industry is conducted by railway transport, its effective use is a necessary condition of stabilization and development in economy of Ukraine. One of the strategic works connected with implementation of high-speed train service in Ukraine is the reliable work ensuring of connection of intermediate rail fastening during operation. For engineering works, according to the contents and repair of fastenings the considerable share of labor expenses during operation of a way is necessary. One of domestic intermediate fastenings which after long operational supervision has implemented into continuous operation is the fastening, type КПП-5. This fastening is a prototype of the Polish rail fastening type SB-3. After the long operation in fastenings, type KПП-5, a number of the shortcomings connected with premature refusal of its elements was revealed. This in generally is connected with intensive reduction of size of pressing force of a rail to the subrail basis. Therefore the purpose is the development of a technique and practical control devices concerning a condition of work of a rail fastening knot, type KПП-5 at operation. Methodology. The assessment of various factors impact at a size of pressing force of a rail to the subrail basis in the knot of a rail fastening, type KПП-5 at operation is the foundation of the research method. Findings. By means of the developed technique and practical control devices it was established: the general reduction of pressing force of a rail to the subrail basis during one mill. tons gross., taking into account influence of various factors, may constitute kN. Originality. Accordingly to the obtained results the author firstly described and expressed by empirical dependence the process of change of pressing force of a rail to a subrail basis in a fastening, type KПП-5 after the admission of T, one mill. tons gross. Practical value. The device design is developed for control of elastic properties and a numerical assessment of pressing force decrease of the terminal to a rail depending on the passed tonnage. Цель. Железнодорожный транспорт является одним из важнейших звеньев экономики Украины и основой ее транспортной системы. Учитывая то, что большинство грузовых перевозок угольной и металлургической промышленности проводится железнодорожным транспортом, эффективное его использование является необходимым условием стабилизации и развития экономики Украины. Одной из стратегических работ, связанных с внедрением скоростного движения поездов в Украине, является обеспечение надежной работы узла промежуточного рельсового крепления во время эксплуатации. Именно на путевые работы по содержанию и ремонту скреплений приходится значительная доля трудовых затрат во время эксплуатации пути. Одним из отечественных промежуточных скреплений, которое после длительных эксплуатационных наблюдений внедрилось в постоянную эксплуатацию, является скрепление типа КПП-5. Данное скрепление это прототип польского рельсового скрепления типа SB-3. После длительной эксплуатации в скреплении типа КПП-5 выявлен ряд недостатков, связанных с преждевременным отказом его элементов, что, в основном, связано с интенсивным уменьшением величины силы прижатия рельса к подрельсовому основанию. Поэтому целью исследования является разработка методики и практических средств контроля за состоянием работы узла рельсового скрепления типа КПП-5 во время эксплуатации. Методика. В основе методики проведения исследований лежит оценка влияния различных факторов на величину силы прижатия рельса к подрельсовому основанию в узле рельсового скрепления типа КПП-5 во время эксплуатации. Результаты. С помощью разработанной методики и практических средств контроля было установлено, общее предполагаемое уменьшение силы прижатия рельса к подрельсовому основанию в течении млн. т. бр. с учетом влияния различных факторов, может составлять кН. Научная новизна. По результатам исследования автором впервые был описан и выражен эмпирической зависимостью процесс изменения силы прижатия рельса к подрельсовму основанию в скреплении типа КПП-5 после пропуска Т, млн. т. бр. Практическая значимость. Разработана конструкция устройства для контроля упругих свойств и численной оценки снижения силы прижатия клеммы к рельсу в зависимости от пропущенного тоннажа.

    The system of magnetic support (magnetic suspension MS) using permanent magnets for suspension is under consideration. The permanent magnets are arranged in stepped order. The vertical interaction forces between magnetic systems of the track and the vehicle in dependence on geometrical and physical parameters of the MS are analyzed. Рассматривается система магнитной опоры (магнитной подвески-МП) ступенчатого типа на основе постоянных магнитов. Анализируются вертикальные силы взаимодействия магнитных систем пути и экипажа в зависимости от геометрических и физических параметров МП.

    Цель. Определение влияния защитного состояния эргатических систем управления на железнодорожном транспорте на безопасность их применения. Составление рекомендаций относительно его учета при нормировании и испытаниях на этапе разработки и внедрения. Методика. Исследование выполнено на базе теории надежности с использованием экспоненциального закона распределения отказов. Результаты. Показано, что подтверждение соответствия эргатических технических средств управления и регулирования движения поездов определенному уровню функциональной безопасности не является достаточным для гарантирования безопасности их применения. Установлено, что защитный отказ эргатической системы управления не исключает, а лишь отсрочивает опасное состояние системы. Научная новизна. Получили дальнейшее развитие подход и требования к исследованию безопасности применения эргатических систем управления на железнодорожном транспорте. В отличие от предыдущих они учитывают показатели не только функциональной безопасности, но и безотказности при нормировании и доказательстве безопасности данных систем. Практическая значимость. Учет защитных отказов технических средств при испытаниях на безопасность применения, а также нормирование характеристик надежности систем управления ответственными технологическими процессами на железнодорожном транспорте в соответствии с предложенным подходом позволяет повысить уровень их безопасности применения в процессе эксплуатации. Purpose. Determination of the protective state influence of ergatic control system on a railway transport on their use safety. Making recommendations concerning its accounting for regulations and testing during the development and implementation. Methodology. Research is executed on the base of reliability theory with the use of exponential law of refusals distribution. Findings. It is shown that confirmation of ergatic technical control facilities accordance and trains traffic arrangement to certain functional level of security is not sufficient for guaranteeing of their use safety. It is established that the protective refusal of ergatic control system does not exclude, but only postpones the dangerous condition of the system. Originality. Further development of approach and requirements to research of use safety of ergatic control system on a railway transport are received. Unlike previous they take into account the indexes of not only functional unconcern, but also faultlessness at setting of norms and proof of these systems safety. Practical value. Accounting of protective refusals of technical facilities at tests on their safety application, and also setting of norms of characteristics reliability of control systems by responsible technological processes on a railway transport in accordance with offered approach allows to increase level of their use safety in the exploitation process.
