    Purpose . The purpose of the article is to assess the costs, which are redistributed in the system «shipper−railroad−consignee» during routing of rail transportation and the development of tariff simulation methods of shippers to the exit routes formation. Methodology . Using economic and mathematical analysis the distribution of costs among the various participants of transportation process during the exit routes formation is investigated in the article. Findings. For implementation of the tariff simulation methods of exit routes and retention of the existing tariff structure it is proposed to provide in the «Tariff catalogue for freight transportation by railway transport of Ukraine» the discount, differentiated from haulage distance. A new method for determining the fees amount for cars supply and removal on approach tracks by train locomotives was also offered. Originality . As a result of the research a new method for determination of the exit rout efficiency that, unlike the existing one, takes into account the various interests of the individual participants in the transportation process was proposed. The dependence of the correction factors to the tariff for freight transportation in their own cars by direct exit routes from distance haulage was obtained. Implementation of these coefficients provides an approximation of railway tariffs to the traffic handling costs. A method for determination the rate of fees for cars supply and removal on approach tracks by train locomotives was offered. Practical value . InUkraine creation of the tariff discounts system for freight transportation by exit routes consistent with international practice and allows bringing the tariff to the real traffic handling cost. This change on the one hand will provide stimulation for private capital investments in infrastructure development and shunting means of approach tracks, on the other – it will fix the shippers to the railroads and stop their outflow for alternative modes of transport.

    Purpose. The main purpose of the work is to carry out a kinematic synthesis of a crank-slider gripping device in accordance to the criterion of the constancy of the drive power of the mechanism with restrictions on permissible pressure angles in kinematic pairs. Methodology . Achieving this purpose is carried out by means of the theory of mechanisms and machines using the analytical method of the Ozols triangles of kinematics of plane rod mechanisms and mathematical modeling of the movement of links. Findings. The ten-bar mechanism of the gripping device is built on the basis of a paired parallelogram of a crank-slider mechanism with a leading slider. For gripping device, which is built on the basis of the rod scheme, it is advisable optimal design using the criteria for the transfer of motion or transmission indices. The criterion of optimization is the ratio of the speed of the leading link to the projection of the velocity vector of the driven point on the direction of the clamping force vector (power transmission index). The lowest energy costs can be achieved, provided that this ratio is equal to one. Analytical dependences are obtained for determining the velocity function of the central and de-axial crank-slider gripping device, which are convenient for analysis and modeling. On their basis, an energy synthesis of the geometrical parameters of the mechanism of the gripping device in accordance with the criterion of the smallest deviation from the unit ofpower transmission index is performed. The possibilities of the gripping device are enhanced by using it in a de-axial crank-slider mechanism, and the best results can be obtained in a scheme where the de-axial value is larger than the crank length. It is determined the specific values of the relative parameters of the lengths of the links and the ranges of rotation of the crank of the central and de-axial crank-slider of the grippingdevice, which best meet the optimization criterion and satisfy the pressure angle constraints. Originality. For the first time, a new criterion for the transmission of motion was introduced –power transmission index. According to this criteria, a kinematic synthesis of the gripping device built on the basis of a paired crank slider mechanism was carried out. Practical value. Practical recommendations are proposed on the size and location of the links of the mechanism for the central and de-axial crank-slider mechanism, which satisfy the requirements of the optimization criterion and implement restrictions on permissible pressure angles.

    Purpose. The work is aimed at the development of principles for the construction of multi-valued automatic cab signalling system (ACS) using the wide-band pseudorandom signals. Methodology. An analysis of existing ACS systems and modern telecommunication technologies has been performed to achieve the stated purpose. The multi-valued automatic cab signalling system CDMA-ACS has been proposed. The mentioned system utilizes wide-band pseudo-noise signals to transmit commands. System parameters: frequency band – 155...395 Hz, pseudorandom codes – 16-bit Walsh codes, spectrum spreading factor – 16, source signal bandwidth – 15 Hz, carrier modulation – DBPSK (differential binary phase-shift keying), information rate – 15 bit/sec, code combination length – 4 bits, maximum amount of commands – 256, the duration of single command transmission – 0.27 sec. Functional diagrams of generator and receiver of the multi-valued automatic cab signalling system have been designed. It has been suggested to apply the correlation method to receive the ACS signals. Findings. To investigate the proposed CDMA-ACS system the simulation modelling has been accomplished in MATLAB in two stages: at the first stage, the CDMA-ACS system was investigated as disturbance-free; at the second stage – under the influence of powerful narrow-band disturbances (traction current harmonics). It has been found that the system shows high immunity to narrow-band harmonic disturbances. The most significant harmonics of the traction current related to the system are 250 Hz and 300 Hz, since they are the closest to the carrier frequency of 275 Hz. It has been determined that errors in decoding the ACS commands occur if the signal-to-noise ratio becomes lower than -8 dB. To reduce the influence of 250 Hz and 300 Hz, harmonics the application of additional band-reject filters was proposed. Originality. For the first time, the authors of this work carried out research on the multi-valued automatic cab signalling system with the use of wide-band pseudo-random Walsh codes. Practical value. Implementation of solutions being proposed allows improving the informativeness and interference immunity for the automatic cab signalling system, reducing the duration of command transmission from the railway track to the cab. Для досягнення поставленої мети проведено аналіз наявних систем АЛС та сучасних телекомунікаційних технологій. Запропоновано багатозначну систему автоматичної локомотивної сигналізації CDMA–АЛС, у якій для передачі команд використано широкосмугові шумоподібні сигнали. Параметри системи: частотна смуга – 155…395 Гц, псевдовипадкові коди – 16-бітні коди Уолша, коефіцієнт розширення спектру – 16, ширина спектру вихідного сигналу – 15 Гц, модуляція несучої – DBPSK (диференційна двопозиційна фазова маніпуляція), інформаційна швидкість – 15 біт/с, довжина кодової комбінації – 4 біти, максимальна кількість команд – 256, час передачі однієї команди – 0,27 с. Розроблено функціональні схеми генератора та приймача сигналів багатозначної автоматичної локомотивної сигналізації. Запропоновано використовувати кореляційний метод прийому сигналів АЛС. Результати. Для випробування запропонованої системи CDMA–АЛС проведено імітаційне моделювання в середовищі MATLAB у два етапи: на першому етапі було досліджено систему CDMA–АЛС за відсутності завад; на другому – за умови впливу потужних зосереджених за спектром завад (гармонік тягового струму). Установлено, що система має високу завадостійкість до вузькосмугових гармонічних завад. Найбільш суттєвими для системи є гармоніки тягового струму 250 та 300 Гц, оскільки вони найближчі до несучої частоти сигналу 275 Гц. Визначено, що помилки декодування команд АЛС виникають, якщо відношення сигнал / шум стає нижчим ніж –8 дБ. Для зменшення впливу гармонік 250 та 300 Гц запропоновано використовувати додаткові режекторні фільтри. Наукова новизна. Автори цієї роботи вперше виконали дослідження багатозначної системи автоматичної локомотивної сигналізації із застосуванням широкосмугових псевдовипадкових кодів Уолша. Практична значимість. Упровадження запропонованих рішень дозволить підвищити інформативність та завадостійкість системи автоматичної локомотивної сигналізації, зменшити час передавання команд із колії на локомотив.

    Purpose. The purpose of the research is to support with results and present one of the most powerful (German) railways’ relationships with the economy and its network coverage. To prove that the railway has a strategic significance within the connection of economic regions. Methodology. We select the country with the highest capacity from the EU countries, then in respect of the given country we present its homogeneity and connections. We look for those points in the given country, where the greatest quantities of goods are placed on rail. Then we compare this with the country’s GDP map and look for a relationship between the rail network and the country’s GDP. Findings. The railway creates the country’s ideal economic centre of gravity. It is clear that the country can be divided into two major regions, the northern and the southern part. Originality. The railway system has been studied rarely from an economic point of view, with GDP correlations. The method can serve as a useful research base to the economic analysis of any area, where we are interested in the importance of railways. Practical value. In case of any economic or geographical area, the importance of the railway can be determined, and it can be shown that how important role the railway can play in an economic region.

    Purpose. The railway transport is one of the most important links in economy of Ukraine, and it is a basis of its transport system. As the majority of freight transportation of coal and metallurgical industry is conducted by railway transport, its effective use is a necessary condition of stabilization and development in economy of Ukraine. One of the strategic works connected with implementation of high-speed train service in Ukraine is the reliable work ensuring of connection of intermediate rail fastening during operation. For engineering works, according to the contents and repair of fastenings the considerable share of labor expenses during operation of a way is necessary. One of domestic intermediate fastenings which after long operational supervision has implemented into continuous operation is the fastening, type КПП-5. This fastening is a prototype of the Polish rail fastening type SB-3. After the long operation in fastenings, type KПП-5, a number of the shortcomings connected with premature refusal of its elements was revealed. This in generally is connected with intensive reduction of size of pressing force of a rail to the subrail basis. Therefore the purpose is the development of a technique and practical control devices concerning a condition of work of a rail fastening knot, type KПП-5 at operation. Methodology. The assessment of various factors impact at a size of pressing force of a rail to the subrail basis in the knot of a rail fastening, type KПП-5 at operation is the foundation of the research method. Findings. By means of the developed technique and practical control devices it was established: the general reduction of pressing force of a rail to the subrail basis during one mill. tons gross., taking into account influence of various factors, may constitute kN. Originality. Accordingly to the obtained results the author firstly described and expressed by empirical dependence the process of change of pressing force of a rail to a subrail basis in a fastening, type KПП-5 after the admission of T, one mill. tons gross. Practical value. The device design is developed for control of elastic properties and a numerical assessment of pressing force decrease of the terminal to a rail depending on the passed tonnage. Цель. Железнодорожный транспорт является одним из важнейших звеньев экономики Украины и основой ее транспортной системы. Учитывая то, что большинство грузовых перевозок угольной и металлургической промышленности проводится железнодорожным транспортом, эффективное его использование является необходимым условием стабилизации и развития экономики Украины. Одной из стратегических работ, связанных с внедрением скоростного движения поездов в Украине, является обеспечение надежной работы узла промежуточного рельсового крепления во время эксплуатации. Именно на путевые работы по содержанию и ремонту скреплений приходится значительная доля трудовых затрат во время эксплуатации пути. Одним из отечественных промежуточных скреплений, которое после длительных эксплуатационных наблюдений внедрилось в постоянную эксплуатацию, является скрепление типа КПП-5. Данное скрепление это прототип польского рельсового скрепления типа SB-3. После длительной эксплуатации в скреплении типа КПП-5 выявлен ряд недостатков, связанных с преждевременным отказом его элементов, что, в основном, связано с интенсивным уменьшением величины силы прижатия рельса к подрельсовому основанию. Поэтому целью исследования является разработка методики и практических средств контроля за состоянием работы узла рельсового скрепления типа КПП-5 во время эксплуатации. Методика. В основе методики проведения исследований лежит оценка влияния различных факторов на величину силы прижатия рельса к подрельсовому основанию в узле рельсового скрепления типа КПП-5 во время эксплуатации. Результаты. С помощью разработанной методики и практических средств контроля было установлено, общее предполагаемое уменьшение силы прижатия рельса к подрельсовому основанию в течении млн. т. бр. с учетом влияния различных факторов, может составлять кН. Научная новизна. По результатам исследования автором впервые был описан и выражен эмпирической зависимостью процесс изменения силы прижатия рельса к подрельсовму основанию в скреплении типа КПП-5 после пропуска Т, млн. т. бр. Практическая значимость. Разработана конструкция устройства для контроля упругих свойств и численной оценки снижения силы прижатия клеммы к рельсу в зависимости от пропущенного тоннажа.

    Purpose . The purpose of the article is to assess the costs, which are redistributed in the system «shipper−railroad−consignee» during routing of rail transportation and the development of tariff simulation methods of shippers to the exit routes formation. Methodology . Using economic and mathematical analysis the distribution of costs among the various participants of transportation process during the exit routes formation is investigated in the article. Findings. For implementation of the tariff simulation methods of exit routes and retention of the existing tariff structure it is proposed to provide in the «Tariff catalogue for freight transportation by railway transport of Ukraine» the discount, differentiated from haulage distance. A new method for determining the fees amount for cars supply and removal on approach tracks by train locomotives was also offered. Originality . As a result of the research a new method for determination of the exit rout efficiency that, unlike the existing one, takes into account the various interests of the individual participants in the transportation process was proposed. The dependence of the correction factors to the tariff for freight transportation in their own cars by direct exit routes from distance haulage was obtained. Implementation of these coefficients provides an approximation of railway tariffs to the traffic handling costs. A method for determination the rate of fees for cars supply and removal on approach tracks by train locomotives was offered. Practical value . InUkraine creation of the tariff discounts system for freight transportation by exit routes consistent with international practice and allows bringing the tariff to the real traffic handling cost. This change on the one hand will provide stimulation for private capital investments in infrastructure development and shunting means of approach tracks, on the other – it will fix the shippers to the railroads and stop their outflow for alternative modes of transport.

    Purpose. The main purpose of the work is to carry out a kinematic synthesis of a crank-slider gripping device in accordance to the criterion of the constancy of the drive power of the mechanism with restrictions on permissible pressure angles in kinematic pairs. Methodology . Achieving this purpose is carried out by means of the theory of mechanisms and machines using the analytical method of the Ozols triangles of kinematics of plane rod mechanisms and mathematical modeling of the movement of links. Findings. The ten-bar mechanism of the gripping device is built on the basis of a paired parallelogram of a crank-slider mechanism with a leading slider. For gripping device, which is built on the basis of the rod scheme, it is advisable optimal design using the criteria for the transfer of motion or transmission indices. The criterion of optimization is the ratio of the speed of the leading link to the projection of the velocity vector of the driven point on the direction of the clamping force vector (power transmission index). The lowest energy costs can be achieved, provided that this ratio is equal to one. Analytical dependences are obtained for determining the velocity function of the central and de-axial crank-slider gripping device, which are convenient for analysis and modeling. On their basis, an energy synthesis of the geometrical parameters of the mechanism of the gripping device in accordance with the criterion of the smallest deviation from the unit ofpower transmission index is performed. The possibilities of the gripping device are enhanced by using it in a de-axial crank-slider mechanism, and the best results can be obtained in a scheme where the de-axial value is larger than the crank length. It is determined the specific values of the relative parameters of the lengths of the links and the ranges of rotation of the crank of the central and de-axial crank-slider of the grippingdevice, which best meet the optimization criterion and satisfy the pressure angle constraints. Originality. For the first time, a new criterion for the transmission of motion was introduced –power transmission index. According to this criteria, a kinematic synthesis of the gripping device built on the basis of a paired crank slider mechanism was carried out. Practical value. Practical recommendations are proposed on the size and location of the links of the mechanism for the central and de-axial crank-slider mechanism, which satisfy the requirements of the optimization criterion and implement restrictions on permissible pressure angles.
