    COVID-19 pandemic has brought difficult situations for the global economy and their economic activities. However, passenger traffic is one of the activities that has felt the impact of the pandemic the most. The movement of passengers was reduced to a minimum, and some forms of traffic were completely suspended. One such example is railway transport in the Republic of Croatia, whose activity was completely stopped in April 2020, which also affected the business of the company Croatian Railway Passenger Transport Ltd. In this paper, the authors will analyse the impact of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on the mobility of passengers in national and international railway passanger transport of the Republic of Croatia.

    This undergraduate thesis covers the topic of urban mobility for people with disabilites. In the empirical part of the paper, the legislation of the Republic of Croatia related to the mobility of people with disabilities is analyzed thoroughly. The aim of this paper, based on the presented data, is to present conclusions, i.e. solutions and proposals for improving mobility for people with disabilities in cities. For this undergraduate thesis, deductive methods of analysis and description are used. They define the concepts of mobility, disability, road safety and, in addition to the above, legal regulations on transport and mobility for people with disabilities in the Republic of Croatia are stated. This undergraduate thesis also analyzes theoretical considerations of various authors, which are used to clarify the mentioned concepts and based on these, solutions and conclusions are presented. U završnom radu razradit će se pojam analize mobilnosti osoba s invaliditetom u gradovima te će se kroz empirijski dio rada pobliže analizirati zakonske propise Republike Hrvatske koji se tiču mobilnosti osoba s invaliditetom. Cilj je ovoga rada, temeljem iznešenih podataka donijeti zaključke, odnosno rješenja i prijedloge za poboljšanje uvjeta mobilnosti osoba s invaliditetom u gradovima. U svrhu izrade završnog rada, koriste se deduktivne metode analize i deskripcije. Njima se definiraju pojmovi mobilnosti, invaliditeta, sigurnosti u prometu te se uz navedene pobliže i pojašnjavaju zakonski propisi o prijevozu i mobilnosti osoba s invaliditetom u Republici Hrvatskoj. Kroz rad se analiziraju teorijska razmatranja raznih autora pomoću kojih se pobliže pojašnjavaju navedeni pojmovi i temeljem kojih se donose rješenja i zaključci.

    Public transport is seen as a way to solve challenges in mobility. Increasing mobility demand, energy consumption and GHG emissions as well as excessive costs could be addressed by resource efficient services as an alternative to the private car. A precondition for this mode shift is a positive experience of passengers with public transport. A broad study carried out in cities across eight European countries plus the FIA network measured passengers’ experience based on interviews to understand which aspects contribute to satisfaction or dissatisfaction. To understand the differing needs of passengers, we built a typology based on a cluster analysis leading to six groups with specific characteristics. Working commuters appeared especially sensitive to reliable services and comfort on their daily trips. Leisure travellers need orientation to reduce insecurity related to their occasional trips. Dissatisfaction with ticketing was an issue in all groups, and student commuters were critical in their assessments, which puts transport providers at risk of losing their potential future customers at an early stage.

    Handling procedures for passengers with reduced mobility differ between airports around the world, but certain procedures, equipment, documents and processes must be present at each airport that can accept and dispatch passengers with reduced mobility. Through the work structure, the regulations related to the transport of persons with reduced mobility in air transport are explained. Passengers with reduced mobility are divided into categories and the handling procedures for passengers with impaired vision or hearing are described. Specific technological procedures for handling of such passengers at the largest airport in the Republic of Croatia are discussed. The role and mode of operation of the Welcome Service are described, as well as the kind of assistance that passengers with impaired vision or hearing can receive when arriving at the Franjo Tuđman Airport. The satisfaction of visually impaired or passengers with impaired hearing was examined in the form of a survey. The results of the said survey refer to the satisfaction with the services of Franjo Tuđman Airport. Procedure prihvata i otpreme putnika smanjene pokretljivosti razlikuju se između zračnih luka u svijetu, no određene procedure, oprema, dokumenti i procesi moraju biti prisutni na svakoj zračnoj luci koja može prihvatiti i otpremiti putnike sa smanjenom pokretljivošću. Kroz strukturu rada objašnjena je regulativa koja se odnosi na prijevoz osoba smanjene pokretljivosti u zračnom prometu. Putnici smanjene pokretljivosti podijeljeni su na kategorije te su opisane procedure prihvata i otpreme putnika oštećenog vida ili sluha. Obrađeni su specifični tehnološki postupci prihvata i otpreme slijepih, slabovidnih, gluhih i nagluhih putnika na najvećoj zračnoj luci u Republici Hrvatskoj. Opisana je uloga i način rada Welcome službe te kakvu vrstu pomoći putnici oštećenog vida ili sluha mogu dobiti dolaskom na Zračnu luku Franjo Tuđman. Provedenom anketom dobiveni su rezultati o zadovoljstvu putnika oštećenog vida ili sluha s uslugama Zračne luke Franjo Tuđman.

    Suvremene urbane sredine moraju biti uređene tako da osobama s invaliditetom omogućuju slobodu kretanja bez ograničenja. Problematika se očituje u nedovoljno razvijenom prijevoznom sustavu u kojem nije osigurana pristupačnost za osobe s invaliditetom. Ovaj završni rad se temelji na analizi zakonskih propisa kojima je uređena prilagodljivost i pristupačnost prometnog sustava osobama s invaliditetom u Hrvatskoj te primjerima u svijetu, analizi problematike mobilnosti osoba s invaliditetom u funkciji pješaka i u funkciji korisnika javnog prijevoza putnika te se temelji na analizi suvremenih rješenja mobilnosti osoba s invaliditetom u svijetu. Cilj rada je prikazati suvremena rješenja za mobilnost osoba s invaliditetom u urbanim sredinama te pokušati ponuditi prijedloge koji bi poboljšali isto. Modern urban environments must be arranged to allow people with disabilities moving freely without restrictions. The problem is manifested in underdeveloped transport system, where accessibility for people with disabilities is not provided adequately. This undergraduate thesis analyses legal regulations related to the adaptability and accessibility of the transport system for people with disabilities in Croatia, examples in the world, mobility of people with disabilities as pedestrians and public transport passengers, and modern mobility solutions for people with disabilities in the world. The goal of this paper is to present modern solutions for the mobility of people with disabilities in urban areas and to introduce proposals for improvemet.

    To move around the country without the use of a personal vehicle entails a connected sequence of several modes of transport. Multiple modes of public and private transport already exist, but no viable unified and integrated system of information. Starting with a theoretical exploration of the business model of door-to-door transport, this article presents the first results of an experimental Innovation & Research project developed by SNCF. The approach is original in two respects: first, it investigates a new so-called distributed business model, focusing on management by local actors. Second, the exploration is undertaken through a form of institutional bricolage that does not prejudge the ultimate solutions. The first findings from surveys conducted with local actors and future avenues for research are presented.

    The first part of a study of passenger flight experience of Urban Air Mobility was completed. This first part included the design of different Urban Air Mobility vehicle models, in which the passenger flight experience would be quantitatively measured. A first version of a simulator setup, in which the measurements were performed, was also developed. Three concept vehicle models, a single main rotor, a side-by-side rotor and a quadrotor, were designed in the conceptual design software NDARC. The vehicles were electrically propelled with battery technology based on future technology predictions and were designed for autonomous flight with one passenger. The emissions of the vehicles were analyzed and compared with an existing turboshaft helicopter. The interface between NDARC and the flight dynamics analysis and control system software FlightCODE, which was used to create control systems to the NDARC models, was developed to fit the vehicle configurations considered. The simulator setup was created with a VR headset, the flight simulation software X-Plane, an external autopilot software and stress sensors. Trial runs with the simulator setup were performed and gave important data for the continued development. Planned upgrades of the simulation station were presented and the continuation of the study was discussed.

    Sustainable urban mobility is long-term planning that consists of a series of steps for its realization, which are achievable in that period, in order to reach the main goal that was set as a fundamental problem during planning. A large number of economic activities accumulate and concentrate in cities, and the functioning of cities without an adequate transport system is not possible. The main transport problems occur mainly in urban areas. The very productivity of cities largely depends on the efficiency of the transport system and the sustainability of urban population mobility. Motorized vehicles, especially passenger cars, have a large negative effect on the environment, climate change and other local and global problems, which can be solved by applying sustainable mobility in the management and organization of passenger transport. With a sustainable way of planning, such as the introduction of electric vehicles, vehicles with zero emission of harmful gases and the adaptation of human thinking, the use of public city transport can be significantly increased, but in a way that will not be harmful to the environment and living beings. Održiva gradska mobilnost jest duguročno planiranje koje se sastoji od niza koraka za njezinu realizaciju, koji su u tom razdoblju ostvarivi, kako bi se došlo do glavnog cilja koj je u toku planiranja postavljen kao temeljni problem. U gradovima se akumulira i koncentrira veliki broj ekonomskih aktivnosti, te funkcioniranje gradova bez odgovarajućeg transportnog sustava nije moguće. Glavni transportni problemi pojavljuju s uglavnom u urbanim područjima. Sama produktivnost gradova uveliko ovisi o efikasnosti transportnog sustava i održivosti gradske mobilnosti stanovništva. Motorizirana vozila, osobito osobni automobili, imaju veliki negativan učinak na na okoliš, klimatske promjene i druge lokalne, odnosno globalne probleme, koje je moguće rješiti primjenom održive mobilnosti u samom vođenju i organizaciji prijevoza putnika. Održivim načinom planiranja kao što su uvođenje električnih vozila, vozila s nultom emisijom štetnih plinova te prilagodbom ljudskog razmišljanja može se znatno povećati korištenje javnog gradskog prijevoza ali na način koji neće biti štetan za okoliš i živa bića.

    Ovim završnim radom opisane su procedure u prihvati i otpremi putnika sa ograničenom pokretljivošću. Isto tako navedene su i opisane sve kategorije PRM putnika i oprema koja se koristi na zračnim lukama za prihvat i otpremu istih. Opisan je rad operativnih službi koje sudjeluju u procesu prihvata i otpreme PRM putnika. Predloženo je korištenje kartica sa informacijama o PRM putniku, namijenjenim posadi zrakoplova. Istaknut je novo izgrađeni terminal zračne luke Franjo Tuđman na kojoj je prikazan primjer operativnog procesa prihvata i otpreme PRM putnika. Final paper is describing handling procedures for passengers with reduced mobility. Work also brings up and describes categories of PRM passengers and equipment that is used for handling PRM passengers on civil airports. Further, operational services which participate in the whole process of handling. Usage of cards with information about PRM passenger is recommended, intended for cabin crew. There is also highlight on the new build terminal on Franjo Tuđman airport, with example of handling PRM passengers.

    This paper formulates a specific methodology based on a mathematical model that selects the optimal terminal configuration of individual transport modes with- in the point of integration of passenger transport. The methodology is applicable for the purpose of analyzing the current situation and proposing improvements to the point of in- tegration of passenger transport. The application of the methodology is presented at the point of integration of different transport modes in the city of Šibenik. As the main pa- rameter in the mathematical model, the time distance required for a certain type of pas- senger to walk between each individual terminal within the integration point was chosen. Technical and technological criteria that influence the choice of the optimal configuration were evaluated and included in mathematical calculations. By selecting the optimal ter- minal configuration within the integration point, the preconditions for better integration of transport modes as well as for greater passenger satisfaction will be achieved.

    COVID-19 pandemic has brought difficult situations for the global economy and their economic activities. However, passenger traffic is one of the activities that has felt the impact of the pandemic the most. The movement of passengers was reduced to a minimum, and some forms of traffic were completely suspended. One such example is railway transport in the Republic of Croatia, whose activity was completely stopped in April 2020, which also affected the business of the company Croatian Railway Passenger Transport Ltd. In this paper, the authors will analyse the impact of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on the mobility of passengers in national and international railway passanger transport of the Republic of Croatia.

    This undergraduate thesis covers the topic of urban mobility for people with disabilites. In the empirical part of the paper, the legislation of the Republic of Croatia related to the mobility of people with disabilities is analyzed thoroughly. The aim of this paper, based on the presented data, is to present conclusions, i.e. solutions and proposals for improving mobility for people with disabilities in cities. For this undergraduate thesis, deductive methods of analysis and description are used. They define the concepts of mobility, disability, road safety and, in addition to the above, legal regulations on transport and mobility for people with disabilities in the Republic of Croatia are stated. This undergraduate thesis also analyzes theoretical considerations of various authors, which are used to clarify the mentioned concepts and based on these, solutions and conclusions are presented. U završnom radu razradit će se pojam analize mobilnosti osoba s invaliditetom u gradovima te će se kroz empirijski dio rada pobliže analizirati zakonske propise Republike Hrvatske koji se tiču mobilnosti osoba s invaliditetom. Cilj je ovoga rada, temeljem iznešenih podataka donijeti zaključke, odnosno rješenja i prijedloge za poboljšanje uvjeta mobilnosti osoba s invaliditetom u gradovima. U svrhu izrade završnog rada, koriste se deduktivne metode analize i deskripcije. Njima se definiraju pojmovi mobilnosti, invaliditeta, sigurnosti u prometu te se uz navedene pobliže i pojašnjavaju zakonski propisi o prijevozu i mobilnosti osoba s invaliditetom u Republici Hrvatskoj. Kroz rad se analiziraju teorijska razmatranja raznih autora pomoću kojih se pobliže pojašnjavaju navedeni pojmovi i temeljem kojih se donose rješenja i zaključci.

    Public transport is seen as a way to solve challenges in mobility. Increasing mobility demand, energy consumption and GHG emissions as well as excessive costs could be addressed by resource efficient services as an alternative to the private car. A precondition for this mode shift is a positive experience of passengers with public transport. A broad study carried out in cities across eight European countries plus the FIA network measured passengers’ experience based on interviews to understand which aspects contribute to satisfaction or dissatisfaction. To understand the differing needs of passengers, we built a typology based on a cluster analysis leading to six groups with specific characteristics. Working commuters appeared especially sensitive to reliable services and comfort on their daily trips. Leisure travellers need orientation to reduce insecurity related to their occasional trips. Dissatisfaction with ticketing was an issue in all groups, and student commuters were critical in their assessments, which puts transport providers at risk of losing their potential future customers at an early stage.

    Handling procedures for passengers with reduced mobility differ between airports around the world, but certain procedures, equipment, documents and processes must be present at each airport that can accept and dispatch passengers with reduced mobility. Through the work structure, the regulations related to the transport of persons with reduced mobility in air transport are explained. Passengers with reduced mobility are divided into categories and the handling procedures for passengers with impaired vision or hearing are described. Specific technological procedures for handling of such passengers at the largest airport in the Republic of Croatia are discussed. The role and mode of operation of the Welcome Service are described, as well as the kind of assistance that passengers with impaired vision or hearing can receive when arriving at the Franjo Tuđman Airport. The satisfaction of visually impaired or passengers with impaired hearing was examined in the form of a survey. The results of the said survey refer to the satisfaction with the services of Franjo Tuđman Airport. Procedure prihvata i otpreme putnika smanjene pokretljivosti razlikuju se između zračnih luka u svijetu, no određene procedure, oprema, dokumenti i procesi moraju biti prisutni na svakoj zračnoj luci koja može prihvatiti i otpremiti putnike sa smanjenom pokretljivošću. Kroz strukturu rada objašnjena je regulativa koja se odnosi na prijevoz osoba smanjene pokretljivosti u zračnom prometu. Putnici smanjene pokretljivosti podijeljeni su na kategorije te su opisane procedure prihvata i otpreme putnika oštećenog vida ili sluha. Obrađeni su specifični tehnološki postupci prihvata i otpreme slijepih, slabovidnih, gluhih i nagluhih putnika na najvećoj zračnoj luci u Republici Hrvatskoj. Opisana je uloga i način rada Welcome službe te kakvu vrstu pomoći putnici oštećenog vida ili sluha mogu dobiti dolaskom na Zračnu luku Franjo Tuđman. Provedenom anketom dobiveni su rezultati o zadovoljstvu putnika oštećenog vida ili sluha s uslugama Zračne luke Franjo Tuđman.

    Suvremene urbane sredine moraju biti uređene tako da osobama s invaliditetom omogućuju slobodu kretanja bez ograničenja. Problematika se očituje u nedovoljno razvijenom prijevoznom sustavu u kojem nije osigurana pristupačnost za osobe s invaliditetom. Ovaj završni rad se temelji na analizi zakonskih propisa kojima je uređena prilagodljivost i pristupačnost prometnog sustava osobama s invaliditetom u Hrvatskoj te primjerima u svijetu, analizi problematike mobilnosti osoba s invaliditetom u funkciji pješaka i u funkciji korisnika javnog prijevoza putnika te se temelji na analizi suvremenih rješenja mobilnosti osoba s invaliditetom u svijetu. Cilj rada je prikazati suvremena rješenja za mobilnost osoba s invaliditetom u urbanim sredinama te pokušati ponuditi prijedloge koji bi poboljšali isto. Modern urban environments must be arranged to allow people with disabilities moving freely without restrictions. The problem is manifested in underdeveloped transport system, where accessibility for people with disabilities is not provided adequately. This undergraduate thesis analyses legal regulations related to the adaptability and accessibility of the transport system for people with disabilities in Croatia, examples in the world, mobility of people with disabilities as pedestrians and public transport passengers, and modern mobility solutions for people with disabilities in the world. The goal of this paper is to present modern solutions for the mobility of people with disabilities in urban areas and to introduce proposals for improvemet.

    To move around the country without the use of a personal vehicle entails a connected sequence of several modes of transport. Multiple modes of public and private transport already exist, but no viable unified and integrated system of information. Starting with a theoretical exploration of the business model of door-to-door transport, this article presents the first results of an experimental Innovation & Research project developed by SNCF. The approach is original in two respects: first, it investigates a new so-called distributed business model, focusing on management by local actors. Second, the exploration is undertaken through a form of institutional bricolage that does not prejudge the ultimate solutions. The first findings from surveys conducted with local actors and future avenues for research are presented.

    The first part of a study of passenger flight experience of Urban Air Mobility was completed. This first part included the design of different Urban Air Mobility vehicle models, in which the passenger flight experience would be quantitatively measured. A first version of a simulator setup, in which the measurements were performed, was also developed. Three concept vehicle models, a single main rotor, a side-by-side rotor and a quadrotor, were designed in the conceptual design software NDARC. The vehicles were electrically propelled with battery technology based on future technology predictions and were designed for autonomous flight with one passenger. The emissions of the vehicles were analyzed and compared with an existing turboshaft helicopter. The interface between NDARC and the flight dynamics analysis and control system software FlightCODE, which was used to create control systems to the NDARC models, was developed to fit the vehicle configurations considered. The simulator setup was created with a VR headset, the flight simulation software X-Plane, an external autopilot software and stress sensors. Trial runs with the simulator setup were performed and gave important data for the continued development. Planned upgrades of the simulation station were presented and the continuation of the study was discussed.

    Sustainable urban mobility is long-term planning that consists of a series of steps for its realization, which are achievable in that period, in order to reach the main goal that was set as a fundamental problem during planning. A large number of economic activities accumulate and concentrate in cities, and the functioning of cities without an adequate transport system is not possible. The main transport problems occur mainly in urban areas. The very productivity of cities largely depends on the efficiency of the transport system and the sustainability of urban population mobility. Motorized vehicles, especially passenger cars, have a large negative effect on the environment, climate change and other local and global problems, which can be solved by applying sustainable mobility in the management and organization of passenger transport. With a sustainable way of planning, such as the introduction of electric vehicles, vehicles with zero emission of harmful gases and the adaptation of human thinking, the use of public city transport can be significantly increased, but in a way that will not be harmful to the environment and living beings. Održiva gradska mobilnost jest duguročno planiranje koje se sastoji od niza koraka za njezinu realizaciju, koji su u tom razdoblju ostvarivi, kako bi se došlo do glavnog cilja koj je u toku planiranja postavljen kao temeljni problem. U gradovima se akumulira i koncentrira veliki broj ekonomskih aktivnosti, te funkcioniranje gradova bez odgovarajućeg transportnog sustava nije moguće. Glavni transportni problemi pojavljuju s uglavnom u urbanim područjima. Sama produktivnost gradova uveliko ovisi o efikasnosti transportnog sustava i održivosti gradske mobilnosti stanovništva. Motorizirana vozila, osobito osobni automobili, imaju veliki negativan učinak na na okoliš, klimatske promjene i druge lokalne, odnosno globalne probleme, koje je moguće rješiti primjenom održive mobilnosti u samom vođenju i organizaciji prijevoza putnika. Održivim načinom planiranja kao što su uvođenje električnih vozila, vozila s nultom emisijom štetnih plinova te prilagodbom ljudskog razmišljanja može se znatno povećati korištenje javnog gradskog prijevoza ali na način koji neće biti štetan za okoliš i živa bića.
